Occupational First Aid Course (FAR)

Would you know what to do in a Medical Emergency such as a Heart Attack or Stroke?

This Nationally Recognised three-day certified course are the NEW standards for first aid at work. It is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency first aid should the need arise.

All Rapid Response CPR Training instructors delivering this course are certified First Aid Instructors and have vast experience in the delivery of First Aid training in the workplace. This course is run to current HSA standards.

• First Aid in the workplace
• Patient Assessment
• Incident Procedure
• CPR and Defibrillator
• Common Medical Emergencies (asthma, diabetes, seizures, poisoning, fainting)
• Injury Management & Shock
• Care of the Unconscious Patient
• Burns and Electrical Injury Care
• Hypothermia and Hyperthermia
• Information Management
• Communications
• The well-being of the first aider
